Why a private villa instead of a resort

At a private villa the whole property is rented to one group. Every Villa De Aqua villa is walled and gated, with a private pool, CCTV, a first-aid kit and a caretaker on the premises. That means:

• No other guests. Team games, a presentation or a loud karaoke round only involve your people.
• One contact for everything. Dates, food, games and add-ons are planned with one team.
• A GST invoice. Corporate bookings made through a direct booking link get a GST invoice.

Day outing or overnight offsite?

Most team outings are day trips. A day use booking is priced as a discount on that date's overnight rate (30% at the time of writing), so you pay less when nobody needs to sleep over.

Choose an overnight stay if you want an evening programme followed by a slow morning. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out is at 12 noon; early or late timings are possible on request, subject to availability. Our guide to day use or overnight covers the trade-offs.

Which villa suits which team

• [Elite, Muttukadu](/villas/elite-muttukadu): 4 BHK, sleeps 18. Suits larger teams, with a sky lounge for billiards, karaoke and a projector.
• [Rainshower, Kuvathur](/villas/rainshower-kuvathur): 3 BHK, sleeps 14. Suits active teams, with a sports lawn for volleyball and shuttle, a 4K projector and karaoke.
• [Cascade Pool, Kuvathur](/villas/cascade-pool-kuvathur): 3 BHK, sleeps 12. Suits smaller teams, with table tennis, a shuttle court and a pool-facing verandah.

Travel time matters for a day trip. Elite in Muttukadu is about 70 minutes from central Chennai. The two Kuvathur villas are about 2 hours away, close to Mahabalipuram.

For overnight groups bigger than the standard capacity, extra beds can take a villa up to about 30% over that number, at ₹1,000 per extra bed.

What a team outing costs per head

All three villas, at the time of writing (see the live rates page for current prices):

• Cascade Pool: day use ₹10,500 (weekday) or ₹12,600 (Saturday), overnight ₹15,000 (weekday) or ₹18,000 (Saturday).
• Rainshower: day use ₹11,200 (weekday) or ₹13,300 (Saturday), overnight ₹16,000 (weekday) or ₹19,000 (Saturday).
• Elite: day use ₹15,400 (weekday) or ₹22,400 (Saturday), overnight ₹22,000 (weekday) or ₹32,000 (Saturday).

The weekend rate applies to Saturday check-ins only, so a Sunday outing is priced as a weekday.

Example: a team of 14 at Rainshower on a weekday

• Day use: ₹11,200 + package (14 × ₹1,000) = ₹25,200, about ₹1,800 per person.
• Overnight: ₹16,000 + package (14 × ₹1,000) = ₹30,000, about ₹2,150 per person.

A simple plan for the day

1. Arrive and settle in. Agree a meeting point in Chennai and share the villa location in advance.
2. Morning session. Use the projector for a short review or planning session while energy is high.
3. Pool time. Main pools are 4.5 ft deep. The pools are unsupervised and diving is not allowed, so agree a simple rule for who keeps an eye on the water.
4. Lunch. The caretaker-cum-chef cooks home-style meals on request (billed separately), or you can add a buffet.
5. Team games. Lawn games, volleyball and shuttle at Rainshower, or table tennis and shuttle at Cascade Pool.
6. BBQ to close. A BBQ meal is part of the corporate package, and Rainshower and Elite both have karaoke.

At Elite, you can also add boating at Muttukadu.

Food options

• Home-style meals from the caretaker-cum-chef, on request and billed separately.
• Buffet Feast at ₹500 per head, a spread-style upgrade for larger groups.
• Barbeque Nights at ₹600 per head, with a catch-of-the-day seafood grill, karaoke and a projector movie.

House rules to share with your team

• Quiet hours are 11 PM to 7 AM.
• DJ setups and fireworks need written approval in advance.
• No diving, and children must be with an adult in the pool.
