Villa for 20 people on ECR: sizing, costs per head and house rules

Finding a villa on ECR that really fits 20 people is harder than it sounds. Many listings say "large group" but sleep 10 comfortably and hand out mattresses for the rest. Here is how to size the house honestly, what it costs per head, and which of our villas suits which group.

Start with the real headcount

Count everyone who will sleep over, not everyone who will visit. A group of 25 for a day party and a group of 20 staying the night need different houses.

• Sleeping guests decide the villa and the number of extra beds.
• Day guests only need space around the pool, lawn and dining area, so a day use booking may be enough.

For a group of 20 staying overnight, Elite is the one that fits: it sleeps 18 as standard and takes up to 23 with extra beds. Rainshower and Cascade Pool suit groups of up to 18 and 15.

What it costs per head

Extra beds are ₹1,000 each. Using our published rates, a group of 20 at Elite works out like this:

• Weekday night: ₹22,000 + 2 extra beds (₹2,000) = ₹24,000, about ₹1,200 per person.
• Saturday night: ₹32,000 + 2 extra beds (₹2,000) = ₹34,000, about ₹1,700 per person.
• Day use: ₹15,400 for the villa.

Meals, décor and packages are extra, so ask for a single quote with everything included.

Keeping 20 people fed and busy

• Food. The on-site chef cooks home-style meals on request, or choose a buffet or a BBQ night.
• Things to do. Private pool, volleyball, shuttle and table tennis, plus a projector and karaoke for the evening. Elite also has billiards in its sky lounge.

House rules that matter for big groups

• Check-in is from 2 PM and check-out by 12 noon.
• Quiet hours are 11 PM to 7 AM, so plan the loud part of the night early.
• Guests beyond the booked number need confirmation in advance.
• Pets are welcome with prior notice at ₹1,000 per pet.
• The villas are walled and gated with CCTV, a first-aid kit and a caretaker on the premises. The pool is private but unsupervised, so keep an adult with children.
